  •  Capacity building of national & international millet stakeholders in processing & value addition
  •  Promotion of millets in non-millet growing regions through innovative extension & research
  •  Developing linkages among millets producers and consumers

Recent 3 major contributions:

  •  Formed and incubated 40 Millet FPOs with market linkages in 4 states (Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana & Madya Pradesh)
  •  Established Millet Processing cum Custom Hiring Centers at farmgate level.
  •  Organized 100+ trainings/workshops and delivered 60+ invited lectures
  •  Conducted more than 200 exposure visits for farmers, students, entrepreneurs.
  •  Established Model Millet Processing Unit at IIMR
